MURDERED: Heather Teague
On the afternoon of Saturday, August 26, 1995, 23-year-old Heather Teague planned to spend a relaxing day, sunbathing on Newburgh Beach by the Ohio River. As she laid face down in the sun, a witness, who was people-watching from across the river through his telescope, watched as a man snuck out of the woods and towards Heather. Brandishing what the witness believed to be a gun, the man pulled Heather by her hair off her chair and into the woods.
What initially seemed like a straightforward abduction case led Heather’s mother on a fight for justice against the Kentucky State Police. 30 years later, Heather is still missing.
