MYSTERIOUS DEATH: Caroline Byrne
In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 8th, 1995, Australian model Caroline Byrne was found dead at the base of a popular suicide spot in Sydney.
Caroline’s death was initially ruled a suicide, however pressure from her family encouraged investigators to reopen her case and consider that she might have been the victim of a homicide.
Not only did they think that Caroline was murdered, her loved ones believed that the murder was the culmination of an obsessive relationship that Caroline was trying to find a way out of.
After 11 years of investigating, a trial, conviction, appeal, and acquittal, Caroline’s death remains unsolved.
